The Osmonds could really rock when they had the chance! ‘Crazy Horses’ is one of the best rock songs ever and it was written by 3 of the brothers – Alan, Wayne and Merrill. This particular version is slightly slower and lasts for about 9 seconds longer than it should. This is because the motor in the turntable I used was faulty. Yes, I recorded the original 45rpm single on a turnable. I think the slower speed gives it a slightly heavier feel. It is only a subtle difference, but I think it is noticeable enough. Enjoy!

For the technically minded I calculated that the extra 9 seconds means the speed must have been approximately 42 1/3 RPM, a reduction of approximately 6%.
